The Eating Disorders Foundation of Victoria is a non-profit organisation which aims to support those affected by eating disorders, and to better inform the community about disordered eating. Originally the Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa Fellowship and then the Anorexia & Bulimia Nervosa Foundation of Victoria, the Foundation was established in the early 1980s by health professionals who recognised the need for information and support related to eating disorders.
EATING DISORDERS ASSOCIATION of NSW Inc was established in the Hills District in 1997 by two parents Pam Loveridge and Pam Stanley concerned about the illness, who saw theneed to provide sufferers and their families and carers with more support, information and advocacy. It is a non-profit organisation dedicated to serving the community.
